For the next 4 weeks starting from 25th January we will be reading and writing about traditional stories. What is your favourite story and why? Do you have a favourite book that you enjoy? If so bring it in to school and share it with us.
Try and get to the library or choose traditional tales from the school library and book corner this term.
When writing try and use the story openers and language used in traditional story settings.
Look out for interesting books like the 'Three little wolves and the big bad pig'.
Happy book hunting......
In numeracy keep learning those times tables, adding/subtracting 10 or 1 to any number, nearest 10/100, repeated addition and count lots of different coin amounts. Don't forget to get onto 'mathletics' whenever you can!
In Science we are learning about Electricity. Can you remember what the dangers are? How many electrical items have you got in your house? Next week we will be looking at circuits and making light bulbs glow.
Have a look at the BBC bitesize revision pages for all of the above topics there are some good games and quizes to play.
